Pcv woes m/e wagner

Took my Chevelle out for a cruise this past weekend. Car has been running great. 0 oil consumption, catch can always empty. Got home and noticed it puffing smoke. Pulled the catch can and it was 90% full.
Done a oil change today and started the car up it smoked the neighborhood out. Scratched my head a bit and remembered I “adjusted” the m/e wagner pcv according to the instructions. Opened the catch can after I let it idle for 15 minutes 1/3 full. I emptied the can and left the pcv unhooked. Started engine and 0 smoke after 10 seconds. Closed the idle circuit (seated the idle screw) verified it was just a little sucky lol. (10 inches of vacuum) Hooked it back up and problem solved 15 minutes of idling 0 smoke, no oil in catch can.

Installed a breather setup through a catch can. Removed the pcv setup completely plugged the manifold port.. Don’t want to take any chances with that thing sucking oil again. Took car for a nice drive it’s back to running great and smoke free.
