Found this Surprise This Morning

Id take the frame off and clean the rust & corision off then repaint the black or is that rubber? Will the glue go directly on the back of the mirror glass? Be careful what you use, maybe call a glass & mirror shop and ask what to use so it doesnt hurt the silver

It could come in handy if you have a stiff neck.....it happens. Back 30 years ago I spent the day painting my brothers new house, extended roller, interior walls. Woke up the next morning with the worst charlie horse in my neck and couldn't move without spasms. Had to drive myself to the doc....4 speed. Got out to the car and for some crazy reason the mirror had delammed and was laying on the front seat....yeah, I know?????

The original glass had to be replaced, I sent it off for repair. On a late 72 the back of the mirror is black unlike the chrome used in the early 72s and before.
