Guy across the street from me works on a lot of hot rods and one of his customers is selling his 64 SS.
It`s a resto mod with almost everything this car on eBay has.
He wants to buy and he asked me what I thought it was worth. I said, I haven't been following prices lately on 64`s so I would check around.
I thought high $40`s to 50K. Guess I was a bit off. o_O

I didn't see the interior pics or the firewall. The car across the street is factory interior and the firewall is factory also.
Much better IMO.

What's he hiding ? Not a single interior or engine pic. 90K I would expect a LS3 or LT4 crate engine/trans, vintage ac and very nice interior.
Looks like it's a 383 gen 1 small block so I'd say high 40's for a price.

Its about everything I've done to my 70 as a resto-mod. So I can only go off the time and money I've done to mine. Just going off the (similar) writeup, I would guess to say he would be at $60K-65 MAX for that car If I was looking and todays crazy prices. Same for the car on Ebay. Other than the personal touches I would change, I would have hoped for the $89K and a resto-mod, it would be a bigger engine (BBC or LS), 6 spd trans, better tires, lower gears, better Dakota or similar dash, etc.. . Not that that's what he built the car for. I might have 50k in min but would sell it for around 70K in todays market. Its insured for 80K. I'm just trying to be realistic.

Beautiful engine pics...

Well, the guy across the street from me bought the car he had there.
Not sure what he paid (I didn't ask) but, I`m sure he got it for close to the $43K he was thinking.
When he gets back from Maine, I`ll try to some pics. Beautiful car.

I don't care for customs. I like 'em the way Pete did his wagon.
And a Gen 1 chevy engine for 89k ? Should be a LS3/6 speed auto for that money.
