I was think the other night, what if a tried some Octane boost with 91 non-oxy fuel then I could use my better set of heads on my 358. Has anyone use the additive with any success? I have some Klotz and it does have decent reviews.

Yup. I stopped using the stuff after I saw that. I was using the Amsoil octane booster.

I have 2 quarts of Kemco octane supreme with tetraethyl of lead that I have never opened. They say it is good. I wouldn't know for sure.

Are we talking about something like Race gas concentrate or just the parts store octane booster that raises your octane by a 1/10 of a point or so?

It’s been out of the turbo Buick thing for a while (even though I still have the GN). Used to be that you’d either have to drive around on race gas or use alcohol injection if you wanted to run more boost than stock. The race gas concentrated looked like the magic bullet. True high octane pretty cheap and you don’t have to live near a station that happens to sell 98 at the pump.
Never tried the stuff though and not sure if it’s still or was ever in favor.

I know a guy I used to know would never by Torco race gas because of the orange plug thing.
