We are camping at Jordan Lake State Recreation area this weekend, 30 minutes from home in the same county. Did we prep much for this one? Nope, this once was a big trip now a nothing trip.

The boat didn't come with us. We have to head home in the wife's car and drag the utility trailer using the Durango back so we can help my son move from one apartment to another.

The mosquitos are horrible right now. They eat me up.

How will your dog do in a tight quarters?

She won't be inside BABs. She's pretty much an outside dog (hates being cooped up and most of the time refuses to come in), so at night we'll put her in a fenced covered enclosure. We have Florida panthers, so she needs some protection at night.

We aren't worried about coyotes as she has already gone after and bit a few that came in the yard.

We have bears where we live now, but have only ever seen 1, but up there at the new place they have panthers. Have already seen an abundance of deer too.
