Mine are the basic 11 inch set up bought from a guy in a newspaper classified many years ago. I think they were off a later model Chevelle or other GM.
I remember trying to rebuild a caliper many years ago and could never drive the seal in. You get one part in the another squirts out. Maybe I just didn’t know the secret (put the seal in a freezer?).
Is it worth doing? Used to be that a reman caliper wasn’t too expensive but I suspect that’s changed.
Anyone got the secret technique for driving the seal in that they are willing to share?
Also what color would a caliper have been from the factory ?
