What’d you work on today?

Wow 1500 ? I have about 1/2 of that (3 X 280 theoretically)

If they are grade A cells, then you should have 840 ah, but if they are grade B cells, then you'll be somewhat less, but you won't know how much less without doing a capacity test on each battery (not cells, but the 16 cell battery).

Are the walls going to be covered with wood or rock? I ask because down here in Florida anything exposed must be armored cable (BX) or in EMT because of rodents.

I feel your pain. I figured I'd be done building my place already, but I sure don't move anywhere near as fast as I used to.

Youth is wasted on the young.

I find myself taking lots of breaks and sitting down. My back has been killing me for weeks. Lisa is getting concerned with all the ibuprofin I've been taking.

I tell her it's a one way trip and I'm already on my way down the road, and she tells me I'd better slow the damn bus down or she'll pour sugar in my gas tank.

I catch myself all the time but usually too late when a customer asks How Long? Lol, keep forgetting I’m not fast like I use to be installing ac systems but I do have good help that cover my ass 🙂👍

I'm doing bodywork to prep my Elky for paint, and finally admitted to myself that it is not a race, and set aaside my deadline and I am much happer and less tired. Its a hobby, supposed to be fun!
And I cannot do 8 hour days out there on it any more. It'll be done when its done, and not a minute sooner.

I think we are all guilty of setting deadlines for projects but are they truly ever done?

I do mine in phases, I want to get this one painted and on the road, then I have multiple other plans for it for the coming years. Power windows and locks, tilt steering, facoty tach dash, big block, overdrive etc. This one should keep me happy, showing and driving for a while.

I’ve been sitting on a TCI 2004R trans for 6+ months and already bought most of what’s needed to install in, I have a Hazard Freight 800 lb trans jack 😳 or a Neutral Blah Blah Jack 😆 but my Neck & Back keep saying Pay a Shop to do it But you know how that goes If you want it done Right do it Yourself 🙂👍👍

I'm past that point of dropping the trans with the engine still in the car. So much easier to pull the engine and trans and do it outside the car. I have the Hazard Fright trans jack I use to support the trans and bolt it to the block, otherwise I'm not getting on my back. That shit hurts too damn much. I look like a cripple if I try to get off the floor now. Roll onto my stomach and then get on all fours, and look for something to steady me to stand back up again. Do that enough times in one day and you'll think twice about doing that again.
