Some or all of you may remember Al from the OCS. I just found this thread this morning. RIP

Saw that last night after work. Sad. I’m not as “in the know” about the regulars over there but remember his posts coming up frequently and he seemed to be a good guy.

It seemed to me he wasn't posting like he used to even before he had died I figured maybe he was on vacation or something. He was a great guy that went out of his way to help other members and I couldn't get over how it seemed like he had a picture to show of exactly what he was talking about. To a fellow Chevelle Guy RIP Al.

He helped me with some electrical and other problems and always would post a diagram in color to make it easy to figure out what the problems is, Fantastic person with a Great knowledge of Chevys, very sorry to hear about his passing and yes 59 is Way too young 🙁

He went out of his way to solve problems for so many members. Just a small example of how committed he was to helping others...While I was in the process of moving last summer/fall & hadn't logged in for a couple of weeks, he sent me a PM asking me to to read a thread & offer a solution because I had posted a lot about small block to big block conversions in 64-67s. I was honestly flattered that he was deferring to me because it felt like he knew the answer to just about everything. I mean I feel like I know a lot about early Chevelles, but Al was just on another level. Just a great mechanical mind. Such a huge loss for our community.
