You are being watched.. Ford Pass App

At the dealership level, we all hate the FordPass app. Its as half assed as everything else Ford does. People come in waving it like its gospel.
 
When I bought the 2020 Ecosport the dealership was pushing it on me and I told them no thanks and they were shocked I didn't want it. Then they kept pushing the oil change plan and I was like if you push one more thing, I'll walk out the door, then they shut up.
 
One more reason to:
A. Do all my own repairs.
B. Only drive pre-OBD vehicles.
Pretty certain that once EV's become common they will be utilized to "Monitor" everyone around them via their cameras and link to the manufacturer.
Once Gov gets control the ICE cars will stand out as they will be the only ones not moving in a precise formation at exactly the speed limit.
