A little fall road trip.

How does the single rear wheel handle your 5th wheel? I'm guessing you have the Kelderman air ride on that truck? Just wondering at what weight I would want (not need) a DRW.

I think it handles it fine, air ride smooths the rough roads. If my trailer was much heavier, I'd probably have to get a dually. Trailer gross is 14250.

This is a pic of what that rock looks like after the slide. Another story told more there was a layer of sediment & after they blasted the face, the whole big piece slid down.

BTW it's called What a Shame Slide. Maybe should have been SOB!!!
 
You're way up north, how warm is it this time of year? Looks like a fantastic motorcycle ride. Never been in northern Montana, just skimmed the south western portion. Reminds me so much of southern Alaska from your pics.
