First RV Trip Without Kids

We bought a couples camper in 2016 knowing this time would come. 2022 we are on our first short trip to the lake, just the 2 of us (plus 2 dogs). We survived many years with 4 of us in the camper made for 3 but with 2 of us this 2017 Surveyor 33RETS is perfect for us and the Excursion.

We walked through some new RVs yesterday and a Class C and the quality of the RVs is not as good as our 2017. We did like a Class C but my wife said she would not give up the travel trailer, she would have both. We are not buying but like to look. The Excursion and camper are cheaper to fix and maintain than buying new.

But... Oldest and GF are on their way to visit and kayak, youngest is staying tonight.

We had our campers before the kids were born, and now after they are all grown up and out.

I worked alot (still do I guess) and I was busy working when the kids were growing up (until they were about 5 or so), then we just vacationed when time permitted (no camping though).

We decided to head home yesterday afternoon, youngest wanted to come home but wouldn't be at the house till late and then we would have to get back to the lake. Decided it wasn't worth it plus we avoided a line at the dump station this morning.
