'New' classic Ford trucks...

Yeah, that's a little nuts for that. I love old ford pickups, but would never spend that kind of money on one of those or even a new one.
 
I read the comments. People are so stupid.

I have a coworker dump 100K into a 68 Mustang for restoration just to make it driver quality. Quality work costs big $$$
 
Anyone can do restoration, but finding someone with experience and attention to detail is much harder to find. Best people to restore vehicles are people with OCD tendencies because they strive for nothing less than perfection.
 
I love the fact there's a market for this. Opens the door for us diyers that can get this done for a small fraction of the cost and know we can sell it at some point and move on to the next one. My '73 square body is a cheyenne super 20 camper special 454, that I restored awhile back but never put any miles on it. It would be a prime candidate for this type of mod and I'd guess for less than 30k invested if I did everything.
