What kind of generator & size is working its Ass of for you today? I sometimes think about buying one for my house.

A lot of outages. We just round tripped Greensboro to retrieve a kid from her dorm. No trees down but limbs in the road. Power will be out until tomorrow for sure. Wind is really howling and rain beating on the windows.

Close the shutters and drink some hot cocoa and go to bed. Nothing you can do about it tonight, so start fresh in the morning.

We were held up in the bus for 2 days waiting for the storm to pass..... ran the generator to charge the solar batteries for 5 hours (no sunlight and very dark skies), but we made it through.

Blinds are closed, TV is on, generator humming away.

Just replaced a faulty cache module in the server. I have 4 1.2TB drives I am going to upgrade to, but I need to wait till I have stable power.

Cool! Right over the top of you! Been there, done that. Last time we went through that it was a Cat 1 with 80mph winds.

It was gunnin' for you. Now don't go telling anyone that you feel left out. Here in Florida we share and share alike.

Michelle is 3 hours west of you and I'm sure she'll get called in seeing how she's been promoted to the charge nurse for her floor.
