Whole House Nat Gas Generators

When I rode a whole lot I stopped at my favorite watering hole and told some people I finally broke down and bought a Honda and got the  looks.....Then I said Lawn Mower LOL, Honda does make very good long lasting engines, still trying to get Kathy sold on the idea, she thinks the portable is fine, I'm tired of running cords every where and chasing and trying to find fuel, Nat Gas Gen is a No Brainer in my mind and last year they ran a new gas line under the yard, new meter

I have a Honda engine Generator and a Honda pressure washer, Both run great and have never let me down.

I've had a honda pressure washer for like 15 years, converted it to LP, and it's always been ready to run and it runs great.

The honda accord I bought in 2014 started having transmission problems at 50k miles (within 1.5 years). Traded it in that same day the issues started and never looked back. I won't buy a car that has a CVT transmission again.

Every car I've ever had with a CVT trans has had issues.

Looks like they now make their own 999cc engine for these generators. :

Here is a place that offers the same I posted for free shipping.

Yeah CVT transmissions suck.

I like the Cummins C20N6HC with the auto trans switch included, a cpl reviewers said they had trouble with service? most said it's a great Genset, I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and find out who in my area I'd deal with if any issues come up, I've heard of Onan motors but can't remember where

I would check out this link :

And find a Generac dealer close by and talk. I would want a service center nearby.
Above all, take your time ! No rush. Hurricane season is over (I think) :)

I'm back to liking the Generac, 18kW model 7228 in the link Beth posted and I never thought about a Genset not having hyd lifters, I'm still trying to get Kathy on board with this decision, rated at 75 amp I think the easiest and most accurate way to tell what size genset I need is to put my amp clamp on the main breaker wire and turn everything that would normally put a load on the panel, 15 SEER 2.5 ton a/c, fridges running, TV or 2, guess I should turn the clothes washer & dryer on too
