Saw this on the local CL.
I`m not in the market but, this seems a bid high. No?

1971 Chevelle 4 speed - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle...

1971 Chevelle base model (non SS) has a good running 350 4 barrel carb 4 speed with a 331 10 bolt posi rear has factory power steering and A/C as you can see needs some work but this is a solid car...

Nice car. IMO if it was not in the rust belt it would be worth it. Floors are rotted, open Pandoras box and you have a money pit. Really need more Pics

That`s what I was thinking. What would you need into it vs what it would be worth in the end.
Dont know much about 71`s but, did they come with a 350?

They came with an assortment. 6 cyl, 307, 350 400. Big blocks incl 396/402 and 454.
A/C car but dash has been cut up. Body looks straight. Hood has been changed.
Need to see under the hood and in the trunk.

Value restored is $20K to $30K

Located on Long Island isn't super bad. I lived there growing up and they didn't use salt on the roads and it rarely ever snowed more than a couple inches.

Couldnt you get an SS350 in 71? I know this isnt an SS just thinking 71 & 72 you could get a SB SS, neat car but Id want to see it on a lift to see underneath, factory 4 spd & bench seat

Has the right 13437 VIN and the base cheap interior.
Only thing I see that would indicate it's not a Heavy Chevy is the Chevelle emblem on the trunk lid.
