Going with Offgrid Solar

Me either. I just puffed to look cool. And the stuff we had back then was one/thousandth as strong as today

I can't confirm or deny potentcy from yesteryear compared to today's standards, but back then it was way more natural for sure. As I understand it, these days it's mixed with other things to increase effects, but I wouldn't know first hand.

That was more than 40 years ago for me.

I had a friend who knew how to grow it and he said it was breeding that increased the THC content. I think THC is the only active ingredient ?

I can the stuff now will put you down. I picked some up in CO a few years ago. It was like the honeymooners zip pow to the moon. o_O Still sitting haven't touched it since. I hate the smell & taste.
The gummies a different story take one before bed 1/2 hour sleeping like a baby.

When Lisa was having the bad headaches, she was in CT helping take care of my mother, and my mom had the gummies and gave some to Lisa to help with the pain, but it did nothing for her, so she never tried them again.

I haven't had anything other than ibuprofin in my body for more than 30 years. I do take vitamins though, but that's it.

These weren't CBD gummies they had the 10 mg THC too, they might have taken headaches away but she would have had a buzz too.

For what she had nothing would have worked except the operation. They caught it in time and it was divine intervention by God. That's all I can say.

Doctor said she shouldn't be walking, talking or even alive for what she went through.

Eighteen (18) eighty (80) pound bags for the front posts done this morning. Now to let it sit for a couple of days with the crane supporting it.

Now I have to take the temporary array down, put it back the way it was (with 4 panels), prime and paint the 10' strut, then I can put those up on the new supports.

My son will come over next week and help me put the solar panels up in place so I can bolt them down, and I can finish the electrical (adding 12 more panels to the south facing array).

Wow, I stick to the 40 lb bags and it's still a killer. I'm glad I can still do stuff at 67. My brothers are 9 years younger and both have terrible knee and back problems.
Did you get the Solarever 440 watt panels ?

Nope. These are what I bought from my first purchase, but I'll be buying all new panels for my next house.

I finally got the massive 18kw inverter mounted on the garage wall today. That 220 Lb beast was so heavy I couldn't stand it up to rig it.
Used the engine crane to stand it up and wrapped a ratcheting tie-down strap around it, tied the strap to a come-a-long and lifted it into position.
It's done. Whew !

Yep, told you that bad boy was heavy..... I used my crane to lift it and my son pushed it against the wall while I drilled and screwed it into the concrete block.

Last night I was finishing up installing the hardie-backer board on the wall and the damn stuff wouldn't break where it was scored with a knife.
Ended up putting a couple of boards up in 3 or more pieces LOL what a PITA

I ended up putting 8 concrete screws on each side just to make sure that puppie never falls off the wall. When I contacted sungoldpower and asked them about issues and how they would get repaired and shipping it back to them in case of an issue, they said they just ship you the parts to replace them in place, so that's why I made it permanent.

A guy near me has size 4 welding cable (3/4") and lots of it for sale at only $2 a foot.
Can I use that to run from the combiner boxes ? There will be 12 panels connected to each combiner box. (440 watts for each panel)
That size 4 cable can handle over 300 amps
-------------
Never mind; that cable was 4 awg, not size 4/0. It's way too small.
Welding cable sizes are very confusing

Also depends on distance.... if the panels will be farther away from your house, you'll need to upsize to compensate for distance losses.

Yesterday I spent a few hours configuring my brother's massive solar system, and I brought everything online and threw the switch.

His place is now running 100% offgrid and is now independent of all utilities.
