The tail light housings and hood ornaments for my 67 SS were paid for in April.
Still haven't arrived but due by Christmas they say.......
Not holding my breath :)
 
Probably sitting in a container off the coast of California.

I ordered LifePO4 batteries in June, they were supposed to be here in September. Now the latest update is maybe the end of November.

I'm told they are sitting in a container. 4 Batteries at a cost of $7,000 just sitting out there.
 
Great times right? Well, it can only get worse, considering you know what? Sad, very sad!

I have not been able to Order anything for my 67 that is OEM / Repo since they closed the border down in early 2020
 
I'm still waiting on my Sealed Power L-2242NF 30 Forged Pistons from Summit. Last update was arrival date of Nov 29, 2021 (Ordered Aug. 16th). We'll see!

Are you talking about the chrome taillight bezels? Curious if you’ve heard good things about them. Mine are useable but a bit pitted and of the repops are good I might swap them.
Not great to hear that there is a wait on a lot of parts because I’m gonna need some stuff when I get her painted.

I don't think you can rechrome pot metal :)
So the tail light housings have to be repo. They are in stock at Groundup so I cancelled my order from OPGI.
Hope the quality is good. I wouldn't be surprised if the same company makes all the 67 tail light bezels.

I have 26 kw in LifePO4 batteries coming. Ordered back in September.

Can you let me know how they fit when you get them please? Mine are a little rough but useable. If repops fit well I’ll go with new ones.

I have 31 kw now already running, and 20 kw more in a shipping container. I called them today and they are saying end of November or beginning of December now.
 
The current state of affairs in this country are the BIGGEST wakeup call in American history. The people passing all of the global climate change bullshit in the name of who makes what and where need to be replaced NOW before we are beyond hope. Our borders need to locked the fuck down and Commerce needs a reality check. You are either for the success of a healthy USA or you are not. If you are not then feel free to get the fuck out. Your children's future depends on it.

Hey do not forget us Canadians we are in the same Boat as you guys
as we donot manufacture much here and rely on the good old USA for most of our Car Parts etc.
OR at lest did
 
Unfortunately this is here to stay for a long while i believe. It has only gotten worse for supplies in every industry that i know of.

Think about this.....Taxpayer paid government workers who go out of their way to hire cheap offshore labor or imported cheap illegal labor.
 
My local a/c parts suppliers are all either completely out of flex duct or running very low with stock, I try to buy Owens Corning when possible but now forced to buy whatever's available, even equipment made in Mexico (Carrier products) is getting harder to find Again, a couple other small contractors like myself think the Big Corps. are buying up and hoarding so the little guys can't compete by being cheaper from lower overhead, no share holders, TV, radio & internet adds, there's also a problem with not enough truck drivers, I'm waiting on Bidens aswer of "Hey we have all of these New Folks that just arrived from South of the Border I think I'll give them CDL's and let'em drive the Big Rigs, What they can't read English? We'll change the road signs to Spanish...What they can't read at all? we'll change the road signs to PICS"

There was an auction lately where I bought my tractor. The Estate owner that passed owned an HVAC company, his stock of metal and parts was being heavily bid on, I guess this is why.

I get the picture thing. It's stupid but useful and they put the picture crap on the driver tests now. WTF, where's the English?
