Allis Chalmers D10

Looks like the carb needs some serious attention. The choke shaft is frozen. I have the whole thing soaking in my carb cleaner vat. It is a Zenith carb.

Where did you find that price? I just looked on DJS & saw almost 600, crazy, they've almost doubled in the last 5-6 years, even the used ones.

It has fire! Point set arrived installed, still no fire. Bad coil, low 3.5 ohms between + and terminal. Replaced with old leftover Chevelle coil, now 11.5 ohms, adjusted points again, has spark. Reinstalled all plugs.

Carb is soaking nicely. choke has freed up. Waiting on kit to arrive.

After I get it going I will install a new cap, wires and plugs.

I was just thinking about it, and if you can't find a gas tank, you can probably fit a larger motorcycle gas tank in there.....

Carb kit came it, everything cleaned up nicely BUT... gasket between bowl and body is wrong. Looks like the carb has been switched and it is from a CA model. I think I found the gasket on Amazon and have it ordered.
