1972 Chevelle SS 454 W coded cars..Forum

I was wondering if we could have a separate forum for 1972 Chevelle SS 454 W coded cars..?
If I had one, I would think the 70-72's are interchangeable. The 70 gets a lot of attention, but I would have a hard time telling them apart.

Just the 1972 SS 454 W coded cars..
What, do the 350/350 cars have the plague

We can start doing that but what will be posted in it? Just "W" engine info or general info? I guess why I am asking is having too many separated threads might get confusing for searching information and could lead to a 250, 307, 350, 402, 454(W) thread division.

I was just trying to gather them together to compare restoration numbers and tips..no problem if you can't or too much trouble. I do get the point

All tips are welcome and feel free to label them W cars. There is no body difference and most of the interiors are the same in all of the models except for sweep dashes vs clusters, bucket seats and consoles BUT in 72 you could get all of that with small block and possibly stripes (but not on a Midnight Bronze). The Heavy Chevy is another base model anomaly, that I find interesting. Many came with rubber floor mats but has the package.

The U coded 402 was also available. I had a 72 MC with one. It was a good big block but often confused with the 400 small block.

There is a ton of knowledge on this site and if you have never visited http://chevellestuff.net/home/ you are missing out. BlueSS454 owns the site and is working on growing it as a resource. I have been around 72s since I was 6 and I still learn new things.
