Looks like the owner was turning it into a race car and ran out of money.
It appears to have no rust and a straight body.
The built BBC is worth a lot $$
It's been tubbed for big tires so that could be a drawback
It's very difficult to find a 66 with such good metal for 15k

That is a Steal, No body & paint work is worth its weight in gold, BBC is just a added plus
And it's in the infamous (to me) Washington NC.
I was staying in Washington and working at a Nutrien Plant 30 miles away.
There was an asshole security guard who stopped me one day when I was clocking in ; you hold your badge up to the scanner while driving in.
He said "you can't be on the phone while driving.' I was creeping along in a line about 2 mph !
Didn't think anything about it until 3 weeks later, I got a call on the phone while away from the plant visiting a hardware store.
Some snarky voice said "the guard says you were on the phone while driving away from the plant. That was your 2nd violation. Don't come back. EVER. "
LOL I was running the entire outage. We were only 3 days from being done. I fifnished that job directing it from my motel room !
What a terrible place to work !

I didn't have to stay in the room. Just had to be in contact and did get the report written.
Actually I was lucky that I had a boss that sided with me. That Nutrien Plant was a POS place to work. :)
We were never paid in full by them for our work. I don't think our company will ever go back there.
