Nike

Is Nile funding research on trans” athlete kids? Article suggests they might be.
Why? My guess is they want to “prove” that hormone blockers equals the playing field. If you are doing studies with a predetermined result, it’s not research.

I've never owned or even bought a pair of Nike for myself or my family..... overpriced garbage.
20+ years ago I found a pair of Nikes that fit my mix matched feet. Bought 3 pairs in black from sears for $30 each, 2 years later I went to get a few more pairs and they had changed the style, were poorly made, weren’t at all comfortable and had gone up to $65. Hard pass, I only wear boots now. That was the only time in my life I didn’t wear boots due to multiple back surgeries. Never again.

As much as we all like to blame their wokeness, I have a suspicion that going partly to a direct to consumer model hurt them a ton. I think NIKe are more a fashion item than a necessary sporting goods to many and I think those people want to see the product and try it on first.
It’s amazing how the mighty have fallen. NIKE and Disney used to be unstoppable.
About their direct-to-consumer strategy:
