For normal people to go there, is a huge sacrifice. $200 a head for discounted ticket?! $50 a head for dinner? Seems like robbery.
It’s laughable that they’ve talked about inclusion and equity. To the liberal mind all minorities are poor and underprivileged. You think they can afford those prices?

Unparalleled hypocrisy. How about shut the fuck up with your equity. Disney is priced for rich people, period.

It didn't used to be that way. The average joe could afford to go after saving for a period of time. I'm guilty in the fact when I was younger I never really thought about it and could easily afford it, but as my ultra conservative ideals and perspective took shape I recognized just how it incredibly expensive it was.
 
If he thinks $1400 is expensive, try staying at the Grand Floridian for 4 nights.
We brought our grand kids there in 2016. Stayed on the 3rd floor over looking the lake.
You could see the castle and the fireworks every night from our balcony. Free happy hour every night on the second floor. :p
Total cost with air was $15,000. NOT including food at the parks.
The grand kids loved it. Probably couldn't afford it now.

That looks really nice. Grand Californian I guess is the LA version. It’s like a lodge inside. Because the area is already so congested, there are no lakes and such. Just a nice pool. Stayed there a couple times but even years ago, didn’t feel like you could afford to eat your meals there.
 
It was real nice. We took a pontoon boat out on the lake one day. They never mentioned anything about alligators.
Then a couple months later after we left, a little boy was dragged into the lake by one.
We saw no signs posted anywhere and we walked that whole beach area, you could walk right into the water if you wanted.
My grand son was only 6.

Fucking hypocrites.
Disney ginned up fake outrage over “don’t say gay” in Florida (which really only prevented indoctrination of very young kids). But are gonna build a park in Abu Dhabi where it’s illegal to be gay.

 
What a shame. Seems like prioritizing being woke over their product is biting them in the butt.
The Marvel stuff (owned by Disney) is still flopping. Just flop after flop. Recent Captain America, Thunderbolts, a TV series called Iron Heart (young, black female genius of course - gender swapped IronMan). Next flop up is Fantastic 4 remake. Stars woke, conservative hating actor (Pedro Pascal) and rumor is will be a “girl boss” movie.

Sounds about right given inflation..... back in '96 I took the family to Disney for their 25th anniversary on July 4th and paid $145 for lunch for 4 in the castle. That was just a sandwich and a drink for each of us.
