Building Ramp

My storage shed entrance sits about 24" above the ground. I am replacing part of the floor that was rotten at the door and tore off the old ramp I built about 12 years ago. It was built with 2x4s and decking planks. The decking planks were broken, warped and some missing. I am planning on rebuilding the ramp, my options are PT deck planks, composite boards or plywood. My lawnmowers use the ramp. My concern about plywood is it being slick to move mowers in and out. Will composite boards stand up to lawn tractors, tillers etc rolling up and down them?

Yes, composite boards will hold up (as long as it has proper framing beneath).

I used them before, but make sure you go parallel with the boards with the opening (helps with grip when driving in). I used 1/2" spacing between the boards and that helps.

That is the plan. The ramp has a Southern Exposure and because it is a building I don't tend to pay attention to it as much, I should. Attached to the other end is my Chicken coop.

I have to juggle the outdoor stuff, I need the building floor sealed so I can get chicks in Jan or Feb. The other project is enclosing the old sandbox under the once was a playhouse. I put a roof on it already and fixed rotted walls so the upstairs is fine, I need to enclose the lower side and add a couple more supports, I am concerned I have a little too much weight in it. I need the lower area finished so I have a place to put some lawn equipment that is packed in the building. Then I need to fix the roof on the chicken coop. Always something to do. I would rather be doing this in the cold, I hate sweat getting in my eyes and the bugs.

I don't mind sweating as it expels the toxins and bad stuff in your body. I can always tell if I've had too much salt as it'll burn my eyes, but most of the time I wear a headband to keep the sweat out of my eyes.

I always thought my Dad looked like a dork wearing a headband, but he was the smart one, so I started using one too, and my wife says I look just like him. I take that as a compliment.
