Satoh Beaver III Model S373D

I bought a 6 spear cultivator last fall and finally put it to work.

The tractor handles the size just fine but cheap Chinese parts I put on the 3 point hitch failed, completely broke, the parts were 3 point arm lift links. So I walked back to the house, got the old farmer made chains that I replaced, put them on and got to cultivating again.

I found a tractor salvage yard in IL that carries stuff for Japanese tractors, I have contacted him to see if he has the parts I need.

Need to cultivate one more garden then attach the tiller.

I'm betting that the "slow" 3 point lift is directly tied to motor speed and the hydraulic pump. If you increase the RPM's, then lift and lower the 3 point hitch, that should tell you for sure if it is indeed hydraulic pump / fluid / filter related. You'll also have to verify it has the correct viscosity hydraulic fluid.

As far as the 4x4 lever being stuck, you may not be able to unstick it without pulling the transmission apart. It may have sat so long that the gears locked on the shaft. The same could be for the axle locker. One possible scenario is if you start using it (going reverse and forward alot), both levers may free up over time. I'd change the fluids first and start using it to see if they will free up, otherwise later it would become a winter project to pull it apart to free the levers up.
My manual for S373d called for 80/90. I think it is a typo. I use Universal Tractor Hydraulic in mine and I live in South Carolina. Never had an issue with raising being slow, it pumps the 3pt up just fine, even with load on it. IMG_0751.JPG

Just replaced mine with this setup. The threaded linkage, OEM, finally broke for the lift arm. The sway chains have been rigged and I finally replaced them. IMG_0746.JPG
