Yes, the cars were lent to the museum and some had mods. Pics were taken maybe 6 years ago in Pigeon Forge TN Musclecar Museum.

If this is the Floyd Garret museum, Jenna and I went there on our honeymoon 17 years ago.

Floyd was there, and I wish I had taken some time to visit with him.

Floyd L. Garrett, Jr.

Floyd L. Garrett, Jr., age 80, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Knoxville, TN in his loving wife's arms. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1941. Floyd had a very successful trucking company while living in Florida. After selling his business, Floyd and his wife, Ava Wilson Garrett, moved from their hometown of Fernandina Beach, Florida to Sevierville, TN in 1995 to build and open the worldwide acclaimed "Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum". Mr. Garrett gathered one of the finest collections of muscle cars in the country. He built the museum to share the collection with the public. Floyd and the museum were featured many times on various muscle car related television programs. Also, Floyd was featured in numerous car magazines across the country throughout his career. He was known as "the muscle car guru" which always humbled him.

My son and I stopped there once and Floyd was working the register. He remembered me from a prior years' Chevelleabration. I'd use my dad's ultimate compliment, he was a prince of a fellow!
My son was amazed he said we are from Texas and we are all the way up here here in Tennesee, isn't there ANYBODY that you don't know? I siad nope, when it comes to Chevelles, I know everybody!
