What’d you buy?

Your X-rays look pristine compared to mine. Mine look like a game of pickup sticks after a temper tantrum.

Thinking you meant to respond to Rick..... but we can go head to head.... showing my xrays, cat scans, and MRIs....... think of lincoln logs that were kicked by a little kid who lost his temper..... then picture them being run over by a forklift.... that's me. I have more bulging disks and pinched nerves than internet fiber being run over by a steamroller. I've refused operations time and time again knowing full well they'd make a bigger mess of what I already deal with now.

They would absolutely create more problems than you started with… how do I know, I’ve had 11 and several were to fix what went sideways with a past one.
3 herniated and 2 ruptured. When I met my wife she was amazed I could walk as they severed the nerves to both legs (by accident) Always fun to be asleep with Dr Frankenstein and Igor slashing away.

And you made my point..... when the VA asks my pain level during a routine visit, I just smile and tell them 3 to 4, and then Lisa pipes up and says, "And for you that'd be a 10 or 11..... he's learned to deal with the pain.... that's why he still smokes.... it calms him down enough so he doesn't start eliminating stupid and ignorant idiots".

They ‘decided’ to try a new procedure 24 years ago and installed a pair of Tens units inside me with electrodes running down my spine and around my hips. Batteries are toast and they offered to remove them, (they are very uncomfortable) however I’m not too sure I want them cutting on me ever again.

To them you're just another cupie doll to experiment on.....

Seen an old friend go through dealing with a botched neck surgery in the 90's I'm not having any Slicing & Dicing done, I have had Radio Frequency Ablation and that helps for 8-9 months but it's a never ending deal, doesn't fix anything just caterizes nerve endings so the pain signal doesn't go to the brain, till the nerve regrows then it's Rinse & Repeat

I've had neck problems and did a lot of stretching - bend over and try to put your hands on the floor. Bounce up and down trying to stretch the neck out.
Used a traction device some but not a lot.
It's a lot better. I first hurt it in a ski fall when i was early 30's.
I own a teeter table and it works but I didn't have to use it a lot. It's more for your back than neck

When I was 15 I was riding with an 18 yr old cousin in his 65 Biscayne and he ran head on into a new 75 Nova, I left teeth marks in the metal dash then my head went through the windshield then I went back in and ended up in a seated posistion, opened the door and went around and sat on the trunk then went into shock, at 27 yrs old I got in a fight with 2 guys and 1 was behind me and twisted my head till I felt a loud POP! everything went white and I couldn't move for a few seconds like someone pressed my Pause button, when I got my vision back they were running down the street, we were in the middle of a small 2 way street fighting, when I was 30 we came home 2-3am and flipped the lights on to find 2 black guys trying to climb in our dining rm window, I turned around thinking "I'm going to whip these 2 Crack heads asses!" Well there was 3 of them, the house recently had const work done and guy #3 that I didn't see picked up an 8"x8"x8" cement block and hit me in the back of my head/neck, I went down on one knee then got hit in the forehead, nose, put my L arm up to block the block and it got broke, only thing that I think saved my ass from being killed was 2 guys from across the street that we cooked out with ran over and was getting the guys off me and cops showed up, next day I got a few stitches, dr wanted to screw a plate in my arm but I didnt have ins so the nurse put a cast on my arm and said Good Luck lol I was pretty sore for a while after that, 3rd time my nose was broke, first time it got broke it hurt more when they reset it, 2-3 times I said Fuck resetting it as long as I can breath through it Im fine, PS Thank God Im too damn old to fight anymore 😆

Noses. Haha. I was adjusting the torsion bars on the front end of the Duster 15 years ago, was on my gravel driveway and in a hurry to test drive after putting 4 tubular control arms on, didn’t take the weight off the front end and the adjustment bolt broke unloading the drivers side suspension with me half under the car looking up. The only thing that stopped the car from falling any further was my head. It musta took 3 minutes for me to keep trying to lift enough to slowly slide my head out from underneath the car. I still don’t have feeling on the left side of my face and my left nostril hasn’t worked since. But I got in the K/5, went to my buddies junkyard and got another adjuster, went home and this time I jacked the car up and put it on jack stands. What a complete dumbass shit show.

I busted the windshield out with my forehead ! LOL
I woke up a little late for work, jumped in my Dodge Shelby Charger (in 1987) and sped off without buckling up.
Hadn't gone a mile and was reaching for the belt to buckle up and a guy in a battleship Delta 88 turned right in front of me in the middle of a curve.
He never saw me and I barely touched the brakes. Hit him sideways and broke his collarbone. I smashed the windshield and had glass shreds in my forehead for months.
I hit it on the perfect angle because I was basically ok. But still have a stiff neck and do a lot of stretching today.

I tore the front end apart on my 73 340 4 spd Duster, not a very strong front end in my opinion, I ran into a fairly deep ditch then hit the drain pipe running under a driveway, well thinking about that now, I guess that would've torn any frontend apart, I was probably going 50+ when I hit the pipe, didn't do any body damage just suspension, Gfriends high school auto class put it back together good as new, happened in 78

Every once in awhile I really miss smoking, even after nearly 7 years. But I did have 50 years in it.

Anybody tried these for their back pain? https://signalrelief.com/
Bought some for Pam a couple years ago & they help her a quite a bit. Before she could hardly ride in a car for more than an hour, she can go around 3 hrs. now.
They aren't a cure all but they help her. She still has bad day where nothing seem to help though.

Never heard of it. I usually do a hot shower, then Lisa will massage my back when it gets really bad, but when it's sciatica, nothing helps.

I must have missed this earlier, my back/neck drs have told me over the yrs that these types of injuries are hard to see since Xrays and some MRI's wont show nerve damage, my last (3/26) MRI report is 5 pages and the older you get the slower you heal if you even heal at all, I was plucking glass out for a while after the wreck with my cousin, all my bottom teeth were ripped from up and surgeons stood them back up into place and used surgical wire to wire them to the bone across under the lower gums, chin bone? and that hurt like hell when they cut and pulled that out, my mom was getting me a bottle of El Toro tequilla every day for awhile after the wreck, my cousin walked away after bending the steering wheel into the dash, the engine was pushed back and bent the firewall inward towards the inside of the car, he was doing 70-75 in a 35-40 mph zone and the young girl was doing the limit, she thought it was her fault but skid marks from my cousins car showed different, after her telling the cop it was her fault she got the ticket, It Wasn't her fault at all, I seen both cars after I was able to get around ok, I haven't seen my cousin Ronnie since but he lives in Ky some where, girl got a broken nose and some broken ribs all over stupid shit, happened less than 1/4 mile from my aunts house and everyone there heard it and came running from what I was told
