Hey guys, just wondering if a "Thanks" button would be useful to anyone? Right now when I want to say thank you, I respond verbally or hit the like button. Whatta ya think?

I think its a great idea and would normally agree. The issue 'I think' we would have on this site (or any new site) is ranking. Sites are graded on several criteria being 1) visitors, 2) views on each Post, 3) Number of Posts/replies, 4) many other analytics. This in turn drives up site promotion on the web and search bots. So as easy as it may be for replies, would actually hinder us in web visibility to not reply no matter how small.

Okay, I didn't realize that. I definitely wouldn't want you to do anything that hindered this site's visibility. I rescind my request.

Yes Sir. It will happen over time as we add more content and threads pertaining to how we want this site to progress. You will notice the 'Robots' in the Visitors area. When someone on the web does a search, internet bots go out with key words and tag websites with the data. Those are the hyperlinks you see when your search results come up on whatever search engine you use. Now in the search results you get, and to an extent, site traffic does have an effect on what sites are shown on page 1 vs page 2 of the search results on the web. Also plays a part is how close or complete your search matches to the results on each particular website. Sites can also pay for Premium advertising to move them up on the search list.

Congrats on your joining the Admin ranks!

Thank you Sir. I didn't want to bite off too much when Kevin and Jon kicked it off. I've really enjoyed being a part of something new. Especially when it pertains to freedoms in this day.

Really though its because of you all. I'm normally not a people person except in rare instances like this where we come together in love of Family, Freedoms, Patriotism, Country and Cars.
