I tried to log in to the Officde 365 account tonight for the guy that I do the eBay/website stuff for. Well, those geniuses are trying to force me to use their stupid authenticator app on my phone to get in.
So, I got the app, but it will not accept the account credentials. That means that I can't get in to disable that ignorant crap. They will be getting a very nasty phone call from me in the morning.

Microshit is getting worse with their crap.
 
Most places are forcing two factor authentication (ie godaddy), but to force a download of an app to authenticate is taking it to the next level. When I did work for doctor offices, many of the hospitals forced users to use android/iphone apps to authenticate to their networks.

Admittedly, accounts are getting hacked like crazy by unsavory characters simply because they have nothing better to do than to send spam or to try and steal money.

It'd be amazing if they used that same effort to do something constructive.
 
I finally got in last night and discovered that the MFA wasn't even turned on. So, when I get around to calling those idiots, they are going to have some explaining to do as
to why it is forcing me to use that app when I didn't activate it.
 
I got sick of Micorocrap's updates so there was a video on line that tell you how to change the dates you can pause it. So far I have delayed my updates until 2033. Fuck them, I am sire they will find a way to change it to fit their needs but for now I have the upper hand.
