I got thinking about the rise in prices since WhoFo Flu, the elderly lady I’m doing an ac install tomorrow recently paid $29K for a new roof on a single story 3 bed 1 and half bath, I won’t know sq ft till later today, roofers left Hot Tar spills about as round as a 5 gal bucket at front entryway on tile surface, put a nail in copper refrig line and Refuse to repair it, makes me think everyone doesn’t give a Damn about the Quality of their work and are just $$$ Grabbing, what’s your thoughts?

I’ve heard in the next 2-3 yrs things are going to get REALLY Expensive, I’m thinking do high $ projects soon, I have a screened front porch I want to change to air cond space, dbl pane windows and nice front entry door so thinking I better get to it

There’s never been a better time to be a real man capable of swinging a hammer or turning a screw. No one can do everything but the less you have to farm out the better.

A colleague of mine just got a whim and bought not one but two 64 Galaxies. One was running a bit rough after having spent a good deal of money having a mechanic sorting out brakes, electronics etc. He asked a mechanic to rebuild the carb and they quoted him $1000.
Bwahahahahaa. He’s not a car guy but recognized that as ludicrous. I would have laughed in their faces.

My supplies to build my barndo cost 3 times what I had originally budgeted. Trust me, the fucktard has fucked everything up, and it's getting harder to get supplies too.
Corporate Greed, supply house managers say “Oh well we can’t do anything about it so take it or leave it” I’d like to Leave it and tell them Shove it Up Your Ass but can’t

I'm OK with whatever Lisa wants to do. :)

Lisa wants the house done, so I'm putting in the time and spending the benjamins. I figure I'm close to $60k over the original budget now. After this weekend (and Lisa's colonoscopy), the floor will get done (again), then it's time to rock ands roll and install the doors, casings, base moldings, paint the outer shop wall, and assenble the bathrooms. I figure 2 weeks (3 tops) and then we'll go for CO.
