Got a tunnel ram setup this week and I wanted to use the bird catcher air cleaner on another setup, so when I took the air cleaner setup off I noticed the air filters were like BLACK and filthy so I thought I'd get some new ones. Holy f-ing crap, the little 6" air cleaners are like almost $40 WTF! So I looked for air filters and they were like $20 Jeez. Looked up the part number I was looking for and Rockauto had them for $9 buckeroos. Still $28 for 2 little air filters is Highway robbery to me. I guess these filters fit some 6cyl Studebaker or something like that. Ok, Rant over.

Auto Parts are stupid expensive now, people are fixing their garbage because few can afford new. I feel lucky to live in a place where frames don't rot out and can keep my garbage on the road.

I just paid $45 for two power steering hoses for my '68 Caprice. Damn originals only lasted 56 years... the high pressure one started leaking on my way to the cruise Friday night. Better then, I have shows for the next 4 weeeknds and would hate to miss any of them.
I've had this car for 19 years, and those are the only things I've never changed. The local AutoZone has them in stock!
