67 vert has finally been painted

Thanks guys. It's an original FF code Marina Blue. I think the paint supplier said it had some pearl in the paint.
I couldn't believe the cost of the paint ($2200). The guy doing the bodywork spared no expense with my money LOL

Much respect for all you've done on this car Beth. I know ppg bc is over $1000 per gal. for a lot of colors. I recently bought bc for my cj5 and went with a modern color....chose a jobber's house brand, Lumabase, and they mixed up a sample of 2 colors which I mixed 50/50 for my final. They quoted me $277 per gallon, similar to omni but was a better product. Liked the sprayout so I ordered a gallon. They "misquoted" me and it was $277 per qt! They gave me a massive discount due to their "misquote". Yeah, color is crazy these days.

Did you shoot that Jerry? What color is that? Looks like some pearl in it?

I did. No pearl, just fine metallic. I can't remember what colors I chose, but I can check. Just picked them out of a swatch sample trying to somewhat match the original Jeep green but with a modern color.
It's getting more common to see metallics in high end b/c somewhere around $1500 per gal. I've heard some exceeding $2k. Crazy stuff.

Nice job. I thought the color looked unusual. What guns did you use? I'm in the market to buy new guns for base and clear.

It's actually one of the best quality guns for the money. Normally guys choose sata and I know of a few first hand, but this gun is very comparable for far less.
