One of the really horrible things about cancer is the Huge amount of $$$ for Research and Development? If they found a cure they'd have to tell the public we can cure you BUT it'll cost you 1 million dollars (just an example figure) then the public would have a Huge Revolt on big Pharma, my wife & I had the "Tour" of Moffit USF R&D bldg, also seen a college age young lady and her mother looking absolutely lost, the daughters head was swelled from superior vena cava syndrome same as Kathys was, what would these millionaire Dr's do for $$$ if they found a cure? some if not all of those Drs entire career is R&D, I'm thinking I should leave out the D? they also don't want to try anything non traditional, maybe insurance wont pay for that? Liability? since Kathys cancer diagnoses we've become Very skeptical of the medical profession, I'd say there's at least 1,000 cancer patients going through the doors at Moffit USF on a daily basis, we spent 12ish hrs a day, 4 days a week for 5 months there and without the treatments she had she wouldn't be here today, they're not 100% sure the cancer cells are dead scar tissue or just laying there waiting to regroup, they said small cell lung cancer's very tricky, you'd think they'd have it figured out by now, I feel horrible for that 33 year young lady and her family, RIP Lizzy

I'm afraid you're right Rick. Pharma is big money and while research is at the forefront of every great discovery or cure, the amount of money to be made with each step closer to a cure gives hope to those who are fighting for their lives, but the allure of the cash flow is hard to do without when it funds research and hence why costs are so high.

I remember when I moved back to Sarasota in 1975 after college and ran into the older brother of a good childhood friend while growing up there. He was working on his doctorate doing cancer research at Mote Marine Lab studying cancer in sharks. I understand sharks cannot get cancer! Go figure! I guess that research didnā€™t materialize but it appeared to be a deep dive into the chemistry of sharks and their inability to get cancer.

I am also skeptical of the lack of a cure by now. I think weā€™ve come a long way, but apparently we have a ways to go for sure. I pray that $money$ isnā€™t the main goal of Medicene, but after seeing the truth about COVID-19 and the manipulation by the gov-t/medical complex it gives me pause!

Cancer is a tough thing to cure because I believe it's often caused by our bodies failure to control it.
Our immune system stops a lot of bad stuff but as we get older our immune system gets weaker.
So things that wouldn't normally harm us can ! Plus chronic exposure to some things (smoking) can cause cells to mutate into cancer.
At least that's my theory.
That's why I believe in ivermectin because it hurts cancer cells in lab tests and is effective against many viruses.
It's kind of like a "boost" for your immune system.
