Wow, I was sure he had died 10 years ago. Haven’t heard that name in about that long.
I think there was a time, perhaps when Barry O was first elected and the Republican Party I guess was licking their wounds a bit. Phil Donahue’s recommendation to the Republican Party was that they could curry favor with voters again by simply going along with everything the Democrats wanted to do, which seems like an idiotic take.
He was at least a more dignified version of the daytime talk show hosts. RIP.
