I did not know there was a towing prep package for Chevelles to tow 6,000 lbs. Not a lot by today's standards but these were full framed cars.

Also, the video harped on the fact it had inner front fenders, Yup. The cars they were showing probably had plastic inner fenders. I also had to laugh about the cowl drainage system, sure it worked until leaves got in the channel, stopped it up and rusted it out.

^^^And I bet there's nothing in the owners manual telling you to flush it out when you wash the car either.
Even now with todays new cars people don't clean the leaves out from under the hood and then between the leaves and dirt clogging up the fender drains that is one of the most destructive things built into our cars.
BUT all that aside,this is an extremely great video and thanks for sharing ChevelleNut.When they showed the Chevelle's crashing into each other I cringed and said what a waste but there's also a good chance those cars got reused for some other testing type things.

Great point, I at least check mine every wash, and it needs it every few washes. It's amazing how much road silt accumalates.
