Would you call?

Is there a way to make a call without worrying about where you're calling from ? If so it might just be worth making a phone call. it's possible this is a young guy who just got it and now owns this car and just wants it gone quick ??
From the CL ad, here are his words :

"Not sure if it runs or not it's been stored in the barn at my grandparents."

But if its a scam they're experienced as they use all the right words to reel in a fish ???
Plus I see the bell crank and wouldn't there be a PRNDL showing in the speedo if its an auto ?

The description says "automatic" but he put "manual trans" on the info sheet ?
Why would he price it so low if it's a scam ? A regular smallblock car can bring $6500.

Usually a scammer will plagiarize pics from another ad, and put a brief discription that loosely applies.....which this one does. They also list a very low price on the product to attract a "gambler" buyer.
His discription is off on 2 key facts, which only support the bogusness.

All the time I've seen low prices on a scam car it's usually to attract a buyer who will forget all about being careful just to get that low price, they just gotta get
that low price and thats when they get ripped off. That's the type they are looking to scam.

The engine pic shows both fenders are gold, other pics Pass fender is a black repop, 6,500 rpm tach would be L78 or LS6, IMO Scam, it also says 450hp, been stored in Gparents barn for years but titles in his name? sounds a little fishy

I forgot how they played that game.
But since we are aware of scammers, their hope is to get you to put down a deposit to hold it.
Why be afraid of calling if you know you would never do that ?
I see no reason not to investigate. But I would not bother if it's over 100 miles away.
