Notice anything weird about this Mecum Kissimmee Auction '67 Chevelle SS?

I’d Never buy a 67 Chevelle SS396 275 LOL HP!!! 🤣
BINGO!!! I couldn't believe it when they said that on live tv! But, the orange (non-aluminum) manifold had an open air cleaner that looked like an L78 or even an L34 engine air cleaner, but I didn't see the sticker. Just so wrong!..and it bid to $80,000!

I guess they didn't want to pull the dash so they didn't install the center ac vent.
And the "caution" sticker makes me naucious. LOL

I don't follow auctions at all, and don't know the fees, frontend or backend or exactly how they get paid.....but there's got to be a sizable investment, both money and time, to get this car through the blocks. To not take $80k is just ridiculous. That car has numerous issues, inferior parts, and incorrect paths towards a "restoration", which is clearly claimed on the windshield. It's a beautiful color combo, and deserves another round in the shop. But to leave that kind of money on the table would indicate the seller isn't going to wise up any time soon.

You basically said everything I was thinking! 🤣. The old saying “Buyer Beware” still holds true!
