I love seeing some of these as pure stock. They are very cool.
If I had the money, I would own both.
I just prefer to hotrod the ones I drive. But pure stockers get more attention at the shows IMHO
Although my 489 is about 525 hp, it still has the cast-iron intake, quadrajet and vette air cleaner.
I modified a Chevelle once, did not like the outcome. I decided that stock is my game.

Took her out again yesterday, was flawless! I drove her towards town and decided to hop on the highway, took her to 70 and let her run.

Yesterday in the garage, running with A/C on:

Looks great, you need to show it off more.

Heck I even took mine out for a bath today & a couple burnouts.
