Took the sunroof out of the Honda and removed the stock rear foam spoiler. Dropped 40# off the car, but I'll need to put 10-15 back on when I put the permanent spoiler on and close the hole in the roof. Currently sitting at 1680 with no driver.

Header next I think. Also looking into making some individual throttle bodies . After that maybe some kind of OBD0 to OBD1 conversion. ECU is unlimited so I can do anything I want. A common swap is to use the Integra ECU from the 1.6. They run rich with it but back in the 80s it was a common swap for more power and they modified the ECU to fix the rich mixture but I don't know how to do it.

Anyway, expecting 115 to 120 HP after all this, which with the weight reduction will give me a power to weight ratio on a par with my Fiesta ST.

Yesterday I worked on a rooftop unit for my friend/coworker cleaning the coils and added 5.5 lbs Freon, this place use to be Tattoo Emporium and I installed the orig 7.5 ton split system in 2001, my friend replaced that 6 yrs ago when it changed from a tattoo shop to a Drag Queen boutique 😳 and I beat the storm, Barely
Really sad this city I’ve lived in since Jan 1972 has turned into a Queer Shit Hole

Progressive liberals run the city now so all kinds of unsavory characters call it home...... who am I kidding? Fags, dykes, drug dealers, hookers, criminals, and drug addicted fools make up a majority of the population now in Pinellas.

When we lived there from '97 to '01 it was already getting bad which is why we moved. They just had to blow money to build a new pier, but the aged sewer systems are still falling apart and all they do is bandaid them instead of replacing them. Dumb. Talk about a piss poor choice of spending money, but that's what liberals do, ignore the need and spend on "fun" stuff.

Some homeless? woman got out of her wheel chair to take a Shit in the parking lot a week or so earlier from what the maint guy was telling me, he cussed her out and ran her off but she was yelling he was wrong yelling at her 🙄

We changed a system out at a townhouse condo today, pulled a 2 ton out and put a 2.5 ton in

They needed more tax revenue people living here so had to show “Pretty Things” Fuck what’s needed

Finally finished the install of the front inner fenders. Seems a thousand things got in the way but they are in.
Had to slot the top holes to get half the bolts to line up.
Then drilled new holes in some places to get bolts in. What a PITA. Glad it's over.
Now on to install the rear tail-lights and then I can do the wiring harness.

Were they OEM skirts? OEM fenders? I've had to use strategic lineup maneuvers using adjacent holes but never had to drill but that's using OEM stuff.

Both front fenders were replaced with AMD fenders. The inners were originals.
We also replaced the radiator support so getting all of that to line up wasn't fun !

Test fit the header yesterday. Fits nearly perfectly. It has no flange, so I’m kind of wondering what to do to attach it to the rest of the exhaust. It’s not nearly as beefy as the downpipe I took off so welding a flange on it might be iffy. I’ll probably go with a flexible connection. Seems pretty common, it’s two pieces of pipe with a stainless mesh between that gives it some flex.

Also, going to save another 10-15# with this swap. The exhaust manifold is cast iron and it and the downpipe together weight over 20#

Went back to the atty house that I repaired a 20 yr old unit by replacing an accumulator, they said it had a loud noise, new part was vibrating on the base pan and in a metal enclosure it’ll sound worse than what it is so I took the top off and put a rubber cusion under it maybe I can get paid now lol 🙂 Notice anything odd? 🤣🤣

Got the Grand National smogged yesterday which is a pita even though it’s always passed except once. It’s also gotten $$$. Went to the place I usually go and with a $20 coupon it was still $109. Although the car is mostly stock I always get a little nervous because some of these guys in doing a visual inspection don’t know what they’re looking at. Had a guy tell me I didn’t have an O2 sensor until I pointed it out to him. He also got down to look under the car with a mirror 3 different times to look at my cat. It’s a universal I had put on the car the one time I failed and it’s always passed with really clean numbers. The only difference between my cat and the cat that the State of California wanted me to buy was a tiny little stamped triangle on it. And $600 of course.

They had that emission testing here for a few years in the late 90’s, my 84 T/A with (at the time) had a the original engine 305, TBI 4 bbl carb and computer, it ran great but wouldn’t pass emissions one year, I ended up paying a cpl places the Guarantee it’ll pass, LOL, after lots of $$$ and running out of temp tags I pulled the dist, TBI and comp, I stomped the comp on my carport cement slab, put a used HEI dist I got from a friend and bought a brand new Eddy 650 carb then drove it back to the same testing station, gal knew my name since I was there so often and said “Rick I don’t know what you did but it’s blowing like a new car now, gave me the passed papers to renew my registration and Wow was I happy 👍👍😁 IIRC that was the last year of that BS around here, 1997-98? Then about a year later had a shop put a rebuilt 355 in, new clutch for the 5spd and had more fun 👍👍🙂 Oh I stuck a piece of black electrical tape over the light on the dash but After it passed emissions 😁
