The highway where trucks work like electric trains

I lived there for 2 yrs. It could work for Germany. A few items, Trucks are mostly restricted to the HWY which is only 30 percent of their road ways. Germany is a little smaller than Montana. Trucks only drive on the HWY from Sunrise to Sunset daily and NOT at all on Sunday. They are only able to pass in certain areas restricting them mostly to the slow lane. Germany imports the majority of their oil and gas making it extremely expensive. I could see where this is a cost savings to them.

Multiply all of that and put it in the U.S. . I'm sure it will be here in the future but not sure in the form of an elec. rail type.
