The steering wheel pad grounds to the column. Check all of your grounds. Also, is your relay circuit hot?

No clicking when pushing buttonYes but the sound of it is weird
So ground out the terminal marked "A " to the body?Check the continuity of the ground wire between the horn relay and horn button but first ground out the horn terminal to the body, do the horns blow?
When I get home can we continue later my phone is about to die
Very tight quarters to the relay bolt as they installed a vac pump next.to it. Have to get some appropriate tools to remove the relay. I will get back to you.Appreciate your help. When I get home can we continue later my phone is about to die
Hi just. Checking if you are on I'm about to check the ground on the relayCheck the continuity of the ground wire between the horn relay and horn button but first ground out the horn terminal to the body, do the horns blow?
I disconnected the wire from terminal A and grounded the terminal with a jumper to a good ground. The relay is clicking no sound though. Should I be jumping the wire from A terminal to ground to get the horn to sound?Yup. If the horn blows it is a wiring issue from the column to the relay. If it does not, check the continuity from the column to the relay. If goo then you have a bad relay.
Sounds like to me the relay is not working right. It has basic contacts inside, you can try to take the relay apart and clean the contacts. BUT... if you are not getting a ground from the column you have another issue. Also, is the relay grounded to the body while making these test and is the ground connection clean?I disconnected the wire from terminal A and grounded the terminal with a jumper to a good ground. Yes I tested the continuity between the relay mount and ground and that was ok. Now the wire that I disconnected from terminal A, what does that feed?Sounds like to me the relay is not working right. Terminal A comes from the column. It is a simple system. Horn pad pressed creates a ground and relay activates connection for horn to blow.Yes I tested the continuity between the relay mount and ground and that was ok. Now the wire that I disconnected from terminal A, what does that feed?
