2017 Ford Escape Battery

Tough finding them, but if you do, they are gold. I'm getting a '92 Ford 7.3 IDI dually my brother doesn't want (he can't keep it running), and that's how I started with diesel. It'll be a fun project to put back together.
I was at a Ford Dealer when those were out. They had the IDI and DI at the same time, was hard to keep things straight when submitting warranty tickets. 6.9L diesels were also commonplace then too.

The 6.9 is very hard to find. If you can get past the cavitation issue in the 7.3 IDI, the engine is unstoppable. Doesn't go fast, but it'll always get there.

I almost transplanted a 7.3 IDI into a '99 crew cab long bed, but I was moving at the time (I think in 2012) and didn't have the time to finish it, so I sold it for the parts.

I remember cavitation erosion being a huge issue, diesel tech was always testing PH, replaced several blocks too. Tech ran a diesel performance business on the side, would always have one in the shop making them have more horsepower.
