Disney

If you guys aren’t already doing it, get PlutoTv and Xumo on your Roku or smart TV. Xumo has a Motortrend channel as well as a PowerBlock channel. All car stuff, all the time, 100% free. There is a ton of other stuff from old TV shows, westerns, game shows, reality shows etc.

Other great apps are Tubi and the Roku network. Lots of great stuff free.
 
So my Mom calls Lisa telling her Netflix isn't working, so Lisa calls Netflix and they tell Lisa things have changed and if we want my Mom to be able to use Netflix we have to upgrade to be able to use it in 2 locations, and Lisa says we don't use it, only my Mom does, and the rep says it's tied to the location where it was signed up so Lisa would have to be at my Mom's house, sign into Netflix on her phone, then it would work for her, so Lisa tells her we're 1,300 miles away, and the rep says we'll have to upgrade costing $25 a month, so Lisa tells her that's not happening and to cancel our Netflix account, then the rep says she can drop that down to $23, Lisa tells them again to cancel the account, the rep says they will drop it to $19 a month, then Lisa lost her temper and said, "Are you liberal and stupid? I said to cancel the account, or are you hard if hearing?" Rep was in shock Lisa said, but the account got cancelled.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my wife?
 
Question is will they actually do it, or just signal they are and keep the influence quiet but steady. Time will tell.
 
Below is this mornings premarket numbers. The height was 07MAR2021 at $197.16

Its going to be interesting this next year for them as they have a few big lawsuits pending which will force them to shell out billions of dollars on several fronts.

Not to mention their shell out of money over the new infrastructure support directed by the new Central Florida Tourism Oversight District. (Reedy Creek). DIS thought they were going to push that on the locals to pay and that's what the MSM was trying to push.

Then there is the Universal Studios new 'Epic Universe' Expansion to take over. which will include their own 'Sun Rail' and connect ultimately to Florida's new Bright Line Train. This will connect Universal Studios to the Orlando Convention Center, Orlando Airport and then travel south to Miami Airport. There are some here in Florida just waiting for them to finalize the stations as it moves South. Might be a good time to buy an AIRBNB house close to a station.

I think it's safe to say Disney gambled from what they felt was a position of strength to push a woke agenda which was likely from a few at the top and the results are clear. More conservative views have rendered that position of self perceived strength to a serious financial and marketshare loss. I can only hope and pray that it continues revealing that the majority which is clearly people with morals and conservative values will likely drive them further into submission. What was once a wholesome place that parents and the like never questioned, to a major loss and will likely end in a major restructuring of the corporate mentality. They should have just stuck to providing clean wholesome family entertainment instead of catering to a very small minority of filth.
 
I see that Xumo app now also has SpeedVision: Stacy David’s show, 2 guys garage, Graveyard cars, etc.
I’m half tempted to dump DIRECTV but it still has a few things that I “need.”
 
Regarding Disney it’s good to see that they are being humbled a bit. They’ve been tremendously successful which bred hubris. Their flagrant virtue signaling was being push onto half their patrons who didn’t want it. You get out of your lane, you need to get checked.

I’m sure it’s more than the gay / trans worship though. Their product is getting stale. How much more crap can they wring out of the Star Wars franchise? Ditto the superhero, Marvel crap. They are coming up with new superhero’s that no one other than comic book nerds have ever heard of. No one was asking for remakes of Little Mermaid and Snow White, much less woke versions. No one needs to hear the back story of Cruella and have her made into a sympathetic character. She wanted to kill puppies to make a coat, let her just be a “bad guy.”
They are a product in decline. They over extended themselves.

Dump it, you will not miss a thing and you will have more money in your pocket.
 
If my Mom didn't like watching Netflix so much, I'd have shut it off, but we still have Friendly TV for Lisa. I don't watch TV at all.
