Toyota Sienna Sliding Door

My 80 year old uncle called, he has totaled 2 vans in 2 years and now he has damaged the sliding door on his 2016 Sienna.

We are going to see him in 2 weeks and he asked me to find a door that is painted and he will take it to have it installed. I found one at a Pick and Pull and if still there I will get it on Saturday. Anyone ever taken off one of those big doors? Any tips?

That's gotta be a two man job or a jib crane of some sort. I would have searched for a youtube video, but it looks like you're set.

I replaced a sliding door on an E250 van, and if you don't have a support system of some kind, it's definitely a 2 man job. Swapping it out was easy, just cumbersome to hold it in place while you reattach to the sliders.

Struck out at the pick and pull. LKQ in Durham does not keep track of their inventory and was very disorganized. I did spend some good time with my son.
