Speaking of bears.

Are they afraid of humans and would they run if they saw you, or are they prone to attack you?

This one was kinda scared took off when I went out. The bigger one a couple weeks ago paid no attention to me.

They get more brave in the fall if they've had a bad summer with no much food. It seems to be starting out the way hardly any rain from mid May so far.

I guess as long as you don't leave scraps out that attract them, they won't keep coming back. Do you carry just in case one of them gets a little brave?

We saw a huge bear lying on the side of the road yesterday in Eastern NC, people were around it, must jad just been hit.

A little earlier this year, last week one hit the garbage & next night hit the barrel I collect for compost, most coffee grounds but some veggie scraps.
