First place was Wisconsin Dells, just another tourist trap IMO, wife likes all the shops though.
Tried for a good sunset pic but was about 10 minutes late.

Went across the bridge to Lower Mich. to day it was foggy/smokey, but cleared up later.

Took these pics from the web site. Takes a new pic every minute.

Roadside shop had this sitting out front. Must be a ship steam engine.

Impressive. My mind always goes to the machinery used to create these monsters.

My family from my dad’s side are from that area. They lived on a dirt road for most of my life in Rapid River Michigan and once a week when they went into town for groceries it was to Escanaba and Gladstone. My Dad still lives there in the summers.

That's a pretty nice area, been through there a couple times but never stayed there & looked around.
