Getting my '67 on the Lift (Finally).....Questions

Well, today I finally started to tackle getting under my '67 to check things out, clean and touch-up spray as needed. I have a 9,000 Lb. 2 post lift which I've used many times on my BMW's/MINI's and my son's DeLorean, but this is the first time for me with an A-Body Chevelle with frame. On my first Chevelle in '67 I was young and had no lift! Ha! I just want to make sure my lift points are correct. I believe they are but just asking for opinions. I know the front of the car is "heavy" so the way I have it set right now is just slightly rearward of center as measured between the front & rear wheels. Please see my pics below. Thoughts? Thanks! John

Beautiful color. I’m sure that’s not factory since it’s way brighter than Bolero red

I know nothing about a lift but I’d have no problem putting a jack stand under my car at those points but I have a boxed frame (convertible).

Thanks John. Yeah, it's a repaint - base & clear, but much of the car is pure original otherwise! There is even faded original red paint underneath along the frame sides plus the original faded red on the sheet metal that's beneath the rocker moldings (it sure looks 56 yrs old!). Bolero Red with Black Vinyl top originally, original engine. The front lift points seem rather easy to figure out but the rear suspension is my biggest concern as the lift point is close to the stabilizer that is attached to the frame (which is specific to Super Sports). Just searching for advice for those who might have lifts. I've been looking at Youtube cars on lifts and that has helped me some.

Appearance-wise Red with a black vinyl top is about as good as it gets (putting aside rust issues with vinyl tops).

Worked on “Big Red” today on the lift. First time inspecting things under there. Happy to report no rust and it looks original everywhere! I have a slight oil leak from somewhere but couldn’t determine yet. Radiator will likely need to be rebuilt at some point as there are signs of a sight leak. It’s the original Harrison no doubt. The power steering belt wobbles a bit so I need to watch that....may need a new pulley. I don’t think it’s leaking but time will tell. Now, I feel comfortable getting the Ole Boy out and driving it some! Yay! Looks to be the original gas tank also but it is painted black. I might do a bit of touching up painting at some point but nothing really is needed to be able to drive & enjoy it! 👍
