I bought a small boat from an old friend since the late 70’s that was going through a Divorce, nice 16’ 1965 Evinrude Trihull with a 69 Merc 80 or 90hp outboard, power trim, live bait well etc but I ended up buying a much nicer alum trailer, had a new Conv Top made and had a lot of fun, my friend was supposed to buy it back later but didnt and I told him same $750 I gave him for it after replacing a bunch of stuff, Oh well, I dont even know how to swim and along with friends would go out in the Gulf of Mexico where you couldnt “Hardly” see land plenty Life Jackets though, Oh yeah had it painted with lettering tooThat's called : BOAT (Bust Out Another Thousand).
This is my 3rd boat. My first one was a 1963 Texas Maid, I had it for almost 10 years. We then bought a 1995 Sweetwater pontoon boat, had it for 5 and this one, a 1996 Sunbird I have had for about 8 years. Our Durango was purchased to pull the pontoon so when we got this 20' boat with an I/O 4.3L V-6 Volvo Penta outdrive the Durango had a boat to pull again. I wanted a GM engine boat for ease of repair and I have had to pull it out and work on it,. We have taken it to several lakes but with campgrounds filling up fast and lake front sites a challenge to get, we haven't used it much.Boat = Hole in Water you Throw Large Sums of $$$ Into…….I had “ N 2 Deep” for 5-6 yrs lol

A fast boat also scares the wife, the Sunbird will go 40 MPH on plane, she likes a pontoon and if we buy again, it will be a pontoon.
Scream and hide on the floor like she does in this oneWhat would she do in a fast boat?
