Did I screw this up somehow? Chevelle script emblems.

I put the Chevelle by Chevrolet on the deck lid because the holes matched up. Tried to test fit the other one on the front but it doesn’t line up with the holes. Tried it on the deck lid and it doesn’t work there either. I can’t remember what emblems were there. I guess maybe I’ll just get another by Chevrolet emblem for the front?

The trunk lid emblem is '69 only and is combined "chevelle by chevrolet" and you've got the correct one. It only works on the deck lid, not the header. The front header for '68 and '69 used a "chevelle" emblem, but only the '69 got the "by chevrolet" which was an add on block emblem, seperate but in the similar location as the deck lid version. If the "chevelle" emblem doesn't fit your header, and it appears correct, you may have an el camino header, which used an "elcamino" emblem instead of a "chevelle" emblem.
