I’m having the shop that put the 2004r trans in my Chevelle replace the what I think is the original WP on my work van with a 4.8 V8, I told the shop owner I wanted an AC Delco Professional WP he said I’ll call you back with a price, called back with $708, I know the WP is around $100 or less but I’d rather pay a shop to do this job and my auto ac friend said he’d do it for half that amount but in the summer I practically live in the van lol so rather have a shop with some type of warranty do the work, so $700 sound reasonable?

In a van that's tight quarters and a bitch to do. Can't do it from the doghouse, has to be all done from the front under the hood. Hours of work. Save your back and let them do it.

That’s what I’m thinking, my backs been mad at me for a long time now 😉

They put the AC Delco Pro WP I asked for, new Tstat & housing, anti freeze and labor $749.11 I think that’s an Okay price since a van is a PITA to work under the hood, I drove by on my way to the beach and it was inside a bay, drove back by after I left beach around 11:30 and it was parked where I just picked it up from so wish they’d of called earlier so I could of done some other repair jobs I had in the van but guess shops never want you to know how long something actually took to repair lol, got a nifty 24 calendar lol, and he sells A body and Nova bits & pieces

I like that GS. I had a '69 GS. Chrome for miles. Loved that car.
66 GTO above it, I like the GS too, the Yellow 73? Apollo is a Hatchback and the one next to it is a manual trans car so take the pedals and what not out of it and put in the already bucket seat yellow car and have a fun project 👍🙂
