A/C Controls Vent Distribution Settings

Funny how cars are different. My Bronze 72 (early production) Vent setting puts air out the dash vents. On my Gold 72 (late production) Vent settings come out as a mix floor and dash. Thinking the Gold Car had dash controller issues. I recently purchased a restored controller from a Chevelle distributer and replaced it this morning, vents still act the same. IDK what the difference in the 2 cars is, has to be vacuum somewhere but it is all ported through the controller/selector unit.

I can still lay under the dash like I did as a teenager!!
